This is a hollow made to exact size beam that is almost indistinguishable from a solid wood beam once installed .These have the benefit of greatly reduced weight load verses solid beams and considerably easier installation. Electrical and electronic connections can readily be concealed inside beams for a more seamless appearance as well. We will build a beam to any size up to 8 1/2 deep by up to 5 1/2 thick or smaller by the length you select for listed prices below .Deeper and thicker mantels are available at additional cost, please use contact link above for larger size quotes or special order requests. We have a standard stain we use to finish the mantels shown in first 3 photos but we can stain any of the 33 colors in minwax color chart below upon request at no additional cost as well. We can also finish unstained with a clear coat over the natural walnut as well.
